Zero-Surveillance Architecture

What your leader sees, and what stays yours.

Cord advocates for people, never on them. Here is the exact line, drawn straight from how Cord is built.

What your leader can see

  • The shape of your community over time: who is showing up, and where momentum is rising or fading.
  • That you joined, the events you RSVP’d to, and posts you made in an event’s group thread.
  • How you felt about a gathering at a glance, the loved it, good, or meh you tap when Cord checks in afterward.
  • Profile details you shared at sign-up, plus any notes your community’s leaders keep about you in their own records.
  • Gentle nudges from Cord: someone who may need a warm word, someone worth celebrating. Patterns, surfaced as care.

What stays yours, always

  • Your private conversations with Cord. The questions and reflections you send to Ask Cord are never shown to your leader, your employer, or anyone in your community.
  • Your direct messages. Who you talk to one on one, how often, and what you say stays between you and the other person.
  • The words behind a check-in. When you write a reflection after a gathering, your leader sees only how you felt, never the note itself. Your words live on only in anonymous, blended summaries.
  • Cord never sells your data, and never uses your private conversations to train AI models.

One promise holds whether Cord lives in a company or a clubhouse. Cord is here for your people, never aimed at them.
